Andy Farley is the uncrowned King of
Hard Dance. A resident at the world famous Sundissential,
Frantic, Storm and Progress, Andy is currently guesting all
over the UK and abroad. 2001 saw Andy headlining the summer’s
3 biggest dance festivals – Gatecrasher, GodsKitchen
and Holland’s Dance Valley. In 2002 there is no stopping
this man.
Andy was responsible for mixing the 300,000 selling Hard
House Nation series and produces and remixes tracks on all
the kicking labels including Nukleuz, Tidy Trax and Frantic.
2002 saw Andy play all over the world including Australia,
Japan and South Africa. In 2001 he played regularly at the
infamous Eden club in Ibiza for the industry’s most
renowned dance event – Dance Valley. Andy has established
himself as a favourite amongst Dance Valley followers and
headlined their Hard House stage at the 70 000 capacity Dance
Valley Festival last year.
The Tidy Boys
The Tidy Boys are music producers and DJs. Consisting of
Andy Pickles, from Rotherham (The original Jive Bunny founder)
and Amadeus Celery Mozart, from Northampton. He famously changed
his middle name in aid of charity. They are well known for
their music label Tidy Trax.
The two were directors of Tidy, the biggest dance music label
in the United Kingdom. Amadeus left Tidy to pursue his own
ambitions and became a part owner of Hard Dance brand Slinky.
Tidy weekenders are held at Pontins Prestatyn and thousands
of clubbers religiously attend twice a year. In October 2008
it was announced (at the weekender by the Tidy Boys themselves)
that the weekender would continue to be held at Prestatyn
after some speculation that the event would move to a new
venue. In 2009 it was announced that the Tidy Weekender would
discontinue. They have since been replaced by the Atomic Weekender,
which follows an almost identical format.
They have signed artists such as Paul Maddox, Amber D, Rodi
Style and Lisa Pin Up to their DJ roster.
