DC.10 is located in an former airport
hangar just a stone’s throw from the runway of Ibiza
Airport. It's a covered terrace with a sideroom that squeezes
in 1500 clubbers, but you don't come for the decor - the club
is most famous for its wild all-day Monday Circoloco parties.
Expect secret guests, underground techno and the wildest atmosphere
on the island.
This Italian-inspired production is proof
that rave culture thrives in oppressive environments. The
cops and the papers are all over Circo Loco - perhaps something
to do with the presence of a long-established daytime venue
down the road
Despite licensing difficulties and smear campaigns, Circo
Loco has thrived and is the highlight of many a holiday on
the White Isle. However the thrust to immense popularity has
never been at the expense of the atmosphere.
Musically Circo Loco is uncompromising, with homegrown heroes
such as Tania Vulcano and Dan Ghenacia demonstrating their
undergorund pedigree alongside Ritchie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos
and Timo Maas.
Many fans will be thinking what 2008 holds in store for DC10
and Circo Loco - new opening hours mean that the party cannot
start before 4:30 pm.

Club Review...
At time of press, DC10's rural den of inequity was staring
at a season-long ban with rumours that it has dripped its
last dregs of debauchery altogether. Only time will tell if
this unruly, unrestrained tearaway of Ibiza's clubbing family
will be given a chance to open its doors again. If it doesn't,
the White Isle will sorely miss its unique hedonistic charge
and spirited rebellious debauchery this summer.
DC10's flagship Circo Loco party was one of the world's
most unrestricted forums when it comes to tribal rhythms,
minimal grooves and primal techno. Marathons from Timo Maas,
Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin remain stuff of legend
there.
"There is no place on Earth that has the same spirit
and atmosphere," believes Freak 'N' Chic boss Dan Ghenacia.
"Before Circo Loco, a lot of clubs on the island were
sticking to one sound or playing commercial music but now
things have changed. DC10 was a place we could all go and
hear the best techno, tribal, minimal and deep house - played
together and without boundaries."
