back up a bit. The building that houses Vision started out
as a church, which was bought and turned into a nightclub
by the infamous Peter Gatien, and would become Chicago's Limelight.
The city's first mega-club was way ahead of it's time.

clubs in the world by DJ Mag, Vision opens its doors to over
2000 club-goers each week and provides an array of music choices
and party environments. Simply put - Vision is currently Chicago's

This large, gothic building that originally started out as
the home of the Chicago Historical Society, was purchased
and transformed into a posh nightclub by the infamous nightlife
entrepreneur, Peter Gatien. This would soon become Limelight
one of the most famous and trend-setting nightclubs
of its era, and Chicago¹s first mega-club. This venue
has served hundreds of thousands of patrons since the 1980¹s,
and while the name of the venue has changed since then, the
establishment has defiantly withstood the test of time. Vision
is also listed as one of the most haunted venues in Illinois,
has been featured in the movie ³White Noise² along
with features on A&E and the History Channel.
Every week you can expect to hear high-energy music from
heavy-hitting international DJs such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk,
Armin Van Buuren, and special performances by mega-stars such
as Moby and Rihanna, as well. No matter what your taste in
