Belfast-born Greg began DJing over six
years ago, shortly before he decided to pack up and move to
Ibiza for the summer with his records. While playing at a
dingy San Antonio after-party, he was spotted by the promoter
of Gatecrasher, who was so impressed he asked him to play
the following week at Space. Since then, Greg has worked hard
to establish himself firmly among the best young DJs in the
UK, recently voted Number 82 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll.
Greg developed a taste for tougher electronic dance music
from a young age and this is reflected in his unique style,
which combines underground and uplifting trance with elements
of techno. This is all rolled into an explosive performance,
which sees him using 3 CDJs, Serato Scratch Live, Pioneer
DJM 800 and EFX 1000 to devastating effect.
In 2006, Greg joined the PF Agency, and is going from strength
to strength, spinning to packed crowds at Lush, Godskitchen,
Slinky, Inside Out, Goodgreef, Passion, Gatecrasher, The Gallery
and a host of others including dates around the world in Australia,
New Zealand, Canada, Shanghai, Poland and Indonesia.
In 2007, Greg attracted the attention of John Digweed with
his remix of ‘Heaven Scent’, which featured on
the massive Cream’s Ibiza 2007 compilation and championed
by every everyone from Sasha, Eric Prydz, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto,
Armin and Digweed himself. Greg has also appeared twice on
Eddie’s show in the last twelve months, most recently
in September, where he delivered an ingenious Full Fire Mix.
Greg has enjoyed huge success with his own track, ‘Vivid
Intent’, which Armin Van Buuren picked as his ‘tune
of the week’ on his award-winning State Of Trance radio
show!
2007 has also saw Greg record his first Live As album on
Discover. Recorded live from this years mega Planet Love Festival
in Northern Ireland, the album captured Greg's energy as a
DJ and was featured as "Album of the Month" in Mixmag.
2008 was Greg's biggest year to date, clocking up airmiles
across the globe from South Africa, Finland, Sweden, Poland,
Argentina and more. Greg was snapped up by Paul van Dyk for
his label Vandit. His first release Stadium was a huge success
and was Mixmag's Cream Ibiza anthem of 2008. Greg was also
chosen by Paul van Dyk to remix his track New York City which
appeared on his massive Hands on In Between Album. On the
tougher side of things his track King Dong on Discover Dark
was hugely popular with Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules
and Eddie Halliwell. Greg's defining moment was entering the
DJ Mag Top 100 at number 82, an amazing achievement for a
young talent.
Supported regularly by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiesto
,Armin, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Sander
van Doorn Above and Beyond and many more, Greg's many achievements,
alongside his outstanding technical ability and passion to
succeed will make him a household name.
